Mohra Sharif: An Introduction (Part 3)
Hazrat Pir sahib (BBUH), Ghous-ul-Muazzam, Rahber-e-Azam Tariqat-e-Nisbat-e-Rasooli (PBUH) trained and enlightened his beloved son, a gifted gem and a picture-perfect believer, Prince Haroon-ur-Rashid sahib (May he live long) to be eligible for the responsible duties of being the successor. Right from his childhood, he trained him with exceptional focus on cognizance, high-spiritedness, and mystical philosophy along with the divine and worldly education. On the one hand, he provided his adored son with the theoretical and practical education of Islamic theology, and glorified him with high moral values, foresightedness, pure and decorous traits and characteristics, and on the other hand, he did not let him deprived of the regular education and made special arrangements for his higher education. He passed C.S.P competition examination with excellence. He permitted him for foreign visits to perceive the then international scenarios and observe flora and fauna of the Mather Nature; it was to study nature in accordance with the Quranic teachings: [Sura AlAnkaboot, Verse # 20]
As Ala Hazrat was admitted into
the CMH Rawalpindi in the last days of his life. He asked his disciple, Khalifa
Muhammad Hussain Quraishi, to pen down a script and send it to Field Marshal
General Ayub Khan, the then President of Pakistan. He commented upon some
momentous national issues, and informed FM Gen. Ayub Khan the nomination of
Hazrat Pir Haroon-ur-Rasheed (May he livelong) as the next custodian of Darbar
Mohra Sharif, He wrote letter to the President for 2 reasons: #1. He was the
then president of Pakistan, #2. The forefathers of the president had been
connected cordially to the Darbar Mohra Sharif since long. The mother of Field
Marshal Gen. Ayub Khan was a pious and chaste woman. She used to visit
barefooted (due to profound devoutness) Ghous-ul-Ummet Hazrat Khawaja Muhammad
Qasim (Blessing be upon him). Once she held both of her sons (Muhammad Ayub
Khan and Sardar Bahadur Khan) out to Baba Gee (bbuh) to pray for them.
Ghous-ul-Ummat (bbuh) said: “Go! Allah will bless them with kingship.” His word
tuned true and one of them became the president of Pakistan and the other the
state minister. The president was on his official foreign tour during the
hospitalization of Ala Hazrat (bbuh). On his return, he expressed his
passionate condolences and replied the letter.
