Mohra Sharif: An Introduction Part 1

 Mohra Sharif: An Introduction

The Darbar of Mohra Sharif is located nearby the Murree Hills, District Rawalpindi. Mohra Sharif could be reached by road, from Rawalpindi to Sunni Bank and then to Kuldana that ushers to the majestic Darbar of Mohra Sharif covering the distan

ce of 7 kilometers. And if driven from Sunni Bank to the Chikha Gali, there is Kashmiri Market that, by walk, takes a visitor to Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Road leading to the forest. This point has a sloppy route of 5 kilometers that allows direct access to the majestic Darbar of Mohra Sharif. The word “Mohra” carries the meaning of a locality with its scanty members, but this apparently small-scale town has been a hub of faith and blessings, and titled as Mohra Sharif.

This town of the devotees of Allah is inhabited in the lush green mountains. Natural inlets run long way into the land. A beautiful mountain stream in flowing nearby. Lofty and elegant houses are built for the comfort, relief and convenience of the visitors and are depreciated being in the hilly area. Free meal (langar) is served frequently. Tents are set up when the number of devotees increases. Sittings for remembrance (of Allah) and (Spiritual) talks are held regularly. This is the place of “Hoo”, where the forest and mountain are turned into garden and flowerbed. Here, the shrines of Ghous-ul-Ummat Hadhrat Khwaja Muhammad Qasim (Blessing be upon him) and Ghous-e-Muazam Alhaj Pir Nazeer Ahmed (Blessing be upon him) are the visiting sites for general public and special guests. By the dint of their blessings, Allah AlKareem made Mohra Sharif a fount of His cognizance and where, around the clock, the eternal cumulative wealth of Slisala-e-Nisbat-e-Rasooli (PBUH) is dispersed to the seekers of the truth and mystics. Here and now Ghous-e-Zama, Sher Shah Ghazi, Naib-e-Rasoolullah Ala-Hazrat AlHajj Pir Haroon-ur-Rasheed (May he live long) has reached the eminence of being epitome of mercy and blessing for the masses. MashaAllah. Islam has been preached at Darbar in the light of the Noble Quran and Sunnah, pure and simple; ethical developments and humankind’s reforms are practiced in accordance with the candid teachings of Islam, especially, the applied edification for the attainment of Nisbat-e-Rasooli (PBUH) is accomplished.

This article is the English version the book: Nisbat-e-Rasooli PBUH.
